LT-Evaporative Light Scattering Detection
 

The Sedex range of detectors sets the standard of LT-ELSD for Liquid Chromatography. The unique design for low temperature (LT) operation guarantees for the highest sensitivity. Another effect is that it is gentle to thermally labile compounds. Sedex LT-ELSD detects compounds that are missed by other detectors and provides universal detection for HPLC, micro-HPLC, SFC, GPC, GPEC, CCC and high temperature GPC systems. It is not dependent on the presence or absence of chromophores, fluorophores or electronegative groups. Any non-volatile analyte can be detected and gradient elution can be employed to optimise the separation. This detector can be used in conjunction with mass spectrometry to provide a complete description of the sample.

 
SEDEX 85 LT-ELSD™ The Performance Leader
 

The new Visually Enhanced SEDEX 85 LT-ELSD™ employs the most advanced technology to provide the highest sensitivity, efficiency and reproducibility of all ELS detectors in the market. This powerful and versatile instrument can be used with any conventional HPLC, from micro to preparative, due to the use of four specific nebulisers. In addition, it is optimized to meet the requirements of ultra fast liquid chromatography including Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (U-HPLC), High Temperature Liquid Chromatography (HTLC) and µ-HTLC. For ì-HTLC, a patented cell has been designed to provide the lowest dispersion and the best peak shape. As an example of the power of the system, the SEDEX 85 can measure sub-one second peak widths with data rate up to 100Hz.

As a true mass detector, calibration using SEDEX 85 LT-ELSD™ is straightforward and consistent in responses with variations below 10% between compounds having identical concentrations and belonging to the same chemical class. In addition, linearity over 3 orders of magnitude can be easily achieved using the log-log coordinates of the general equation A=a.mb. Other equations such as secondorder or third-order polynomial equations can also provide excellent quantitative results with correlation coefficients nearly equal to 1.



The new SEDEX 85LT combines total remote control with unprecedented sensitivity. This smaller, stackable unit occupies only 25 cm of bench space. Full SOP protocols are provided for GLP compliance and validation procedures. Sophisticated, yet easy to use the SEDEX 85 is ready to detect in two simple steps:

SEDEX 754 Parallel 4-Channel ELS-detection
 

Sedex 754 maximize sensitivity, efficiency and throughput of multiple HPLC systems for Combinatorial Chemistry. Sedex 754 consists of 4 independent detectors operated in parallel. Each detector is controlled from a common keypad and display or from a PC. The Sedex 754 reduces the space that is needed per channel. It includes all the benefits of our single channel Sedex 75. It has a superb sensitivity and narrow peaks
